AuctionTime

I bought a tractor a couple of years ago on Auctiontime for 1/3 of what the seller (dealer) wanted for it on their lot. I thought for sure the dealership would have a way to run up the bid, but they didn't. Doubt I will get a deal like that again, tho.

over the years i picked up apx a dozzen items on the site, but the past few years i noticed that i am bidding i think against other dealers buy for there lots. if you have time to wait and not need the equmpment today and use the max bid option you have a chance. or plan on camping on your computer that day till right at the end of the auction. also read the terms the dealers set as some will give a week to pick up other a month, some want payment only by wire transfer other will give a week. good luck

I buy on the site almost weekly and have since last December, most of the stuff is from dealers, I have not had any seller try to renig or change any terms after the fact. As mentioned below, read the fine print because most items require bank transfer payment within 48 hours and there are normally strict rules for pick up of equipment.

I bought a used flail mower on the site. Anything around here was $1300. Found one a state away. My buddy is a trucker and goes near the place every week. $400 for the mower and $200 to my buddy for hauling. Half price of a local mower...
