Was hoping to make it up to the show this weekend. What is the local weather and conditions report up there? Wil there be any field work on Saturday? Trying to decide if tomorrow is ok to go up or if I should wait till Sunday.

Here west of peoria I have had 3 inches today. There will be no field work around here.
 
It has been my experience up there, that you can plow an hour after a rain(lots of sand) I can t make it this year but I have friends there this week.
 
Less than half an inch today, 38 miles north of Peoria. Quad cities got a lot and Kewanee got a lot today. (Friday)
 
That's about what I thought about that place up there and why I was looking for their local conditions.
 
It's wet but not impossible. It was drizzling when I left yesterday afternoon. I live an hour west and we had 1" yesterday afternoon and 1" overnite. Display area was good, pretty sandy. They did pick ear corn yesterday afternoon. If it clears off, I'm sure they will plow this afternoon and pick more corn. If you come, look me up, I will be on a old red Yamaha golf cart or a Oliver 88 with no decals and a 3 bottom Oliver plow. Chris
 
I don't think we really got the rain overnight like predicted. I think we will head up this afternoon. I don't want to go tomorrow and find they only have most of the work is done. I will keep my eyes out for you. It will be me, grandpa and my 4 year old so we should stand out a bit.
 
We made 1 round doing beans late this afternoon, it wasn't too bad but Sunday will be much better, We will be there running the 525 oliver combine in beans, and the 74H oliver picker on the 1650 in corn.. We just finished a 1955 MFWD oliver on friday night so we got that down there this morning. still quite a bit of picking, beans to be cut, and plowing to do yet, It will be worth the drive on Sunday.
