Due to advancement in age and general related crippling I added a step to the rear left cultivator mount pipe hole on one of my 77s. It entertained me for the better part of the afternoon and works as intended. gm

My S88 has a step on the left side just in front of the axle housing and I sure like it. Been planning to make one for my 77 but well lets just say been planning for too many years now and guess I need to get it done some day

I'm sure you'll be glad you spent the time to do it.

I always looked at add on steps as unnecessary - until a friend added one to his jd A. One of those moments where it hits you - might not be a necessity, but why WOULDN'T you do this?

I was having trouble getting up on my tractor, so I bought a shorter tractor. Even then I added another lower step to make the climb easier. I do have some good days, but it never seems to snow on those days. That's when I ise my tractor the most.

have an old buggy step mounted on the left front of the deck on my 102Jr.Makes it easy to get on and off the front like we should.

I didn't realize how hard it was to get onto the 4020 until I added another step. I just ordered the bottom step from the 4440 and bolted it on. It was another one of those "why didn't I do this years ago?" moment. I've added enough steps to the back of the Farmall M to help get up there. It's usually got the grinder on it so that helps getting on. The older I get the more I worry about falling with the pto running on it. I fell getting on it yesterday but it wasn't running. Amazing how you do things a million times and suddenly there's trouble doing it.
