Julie ,, you may not get a response,, sorry .. lots of folx come and go in a yrs time ,, I have 3 bad wobble boxes in all 3 of my 489 nh ,any good precision mechanic can repair these gear boxes ,, but a novice that does clutches and head gaskets should not attempt rebuilding these gear boxes ,, too many critical alighnmnts ,. I called frys in penn,.. they had a used gear box for,750 , so I bought one ,, that was 2 yrs ago , and I have not put it on yet ,, happened across a rusty low houred 1190 ihc haybine cheap at auction , if you are close to Louisville ky area..
