3.785 litres to the US gallon
gas at the best I've seen around here is 95.7 per ltr would be 3.622 per US gal
even with the exchange rate US$ to Can$ it would still be around 3 bucks a gal US
bank quoted me $1.20 per US$ wed as I have a few hundred I've been sitting on for a while now
but there's service charges as well
US gas is still a better deal than cdn even when we where over par

Here in the people's republic of new pork it's $2.19, diesel is $2.71. I guess it's better than last year at this time? So many factors we don't know why it's dropping, china is slowing on growth, the Middle East dosent like the fact were fracking, next year is an election year, who knows, but I'm for lower fuel prices!

Please explain the connection between an election year and gas prices.
BTW, EVERY year is an election year. Somebody in some office is always coming up for election, whether it is a senator, house of reps, judges, or dog catcher.
Just using some deductive reasoning, I see the following:
Politicians, whether incumbents or candidates have no control over fuel prices.
Politicians, if they did have such control would be screaming it from the top of every mountain to take credit for it.
I have never voted for any candidate based on fuel prices - or any other single issue for that matter.
So, my conclusion is that this has nothing to do with fuel prices or the price of eggs in Germany.
