Need help with John deere B

I need help please. I have a 1948 john deere B Just put new exhaust pipe on. It looks like it takes some kind of tapered head bolts into the flange made onto the pipe...I don't know for sure...can somebody help me. Serial # 235794

You must be talking about the cast flange on the manifold..??

I would use a couple new bolts, with washers..the tapered holes are probably from age-old rusted and loose bolts that caused that taper...
Use Never-Seize on them and maybe they will come loose in another 25 years..!!

just us bolts that fit that tapper comes from the way the holes are punched in the flange
