Finally the end is in site. Needed to replace the 14 Cord of wood that I burned last winter. My son had some time off. Wed. we went to the Fonda Fair, and had a great time with lots of old friends, and today he came up and helped me cut and split firewood. For me, it was the easiest that I have loaded this trailer in many a year. I got to set in the operator seat of the splitter/elevator, and run the lever. My son did all the bull work. Loaded the trailer in record time.
Pics are of the gin pole/winch draging logs up and out of the piles at the landings, rearanging the split wood on the trailer to TOTALLY load it, and the last pic is of all the blocks that we made and left for the next 2 trailer loads.
My son and I had a really great day together.
