Does anybody refurb/remanufacture a steering wheel?

I've looked at a few new aftermarket steering wheels for an old tractor and I don't like what I see, so I'd like to take an old steering wheel and have the grips on it remanufactured.
I know there used to be a company that refurbed them that has since closed down, so can anybody recommend a place to have it done? Does a place still exist?

There are many places to choose from, but I don't have experience with any of them.

Did a search of "steering wheel restoration" and also found videos for DIY and repair kits. If it's just got some cracks, looks like it would be a fairly easy fix. But if there is material missing probably better go with a restoration service.

This would probably be a service that varies greatly in price depending on the clientele. Obviously you're not looking for a shop that specializes in exotic European sports cars! LOL So some calling around and price comparison would be advisable!

I went to O'Reilly's and bought a can of black truck-bed spray coating, and sparyed 6 or 8 layers on my steering wheel rim. Masked off the spokes. Sanded between coats, to remove the sharp spots. Sanded the final coat. I like it a LOT. it is black, slightly textured, tough as nails, has stayed intact for many years, loks good, tough TOUGH, and it was cheap.

I repaired a bakelite steering wheel one time and within a year the cracks came back. The larger chunks are still together and is functional but I wish I had gone with the aftermarket steering wheel.
