My Brother did this in the last few weeks. He took a spare 406 deck and cut it down and put the unit and mounts off of his 405 that was in really bad shape. The deck we have had for years but have not used. He uses it behind his 800 Ford and the 405 works perfectly

Ron, I have a 5 foot 305? that needs some deck work. I may get that drone to bring it down. Let me know when it is ready.

Nice work.
I have that same mower in 6'. Have enough power to run it good but its all my 3000 will heft.
Where's your tail wheel, just not on it yet?

He has to rob all that off of another old 305 that the deck is rusted out. When scrap was high we grabbed up a number of mowers that came in the scrap yard next we keep our equipment. I'm sure we have at least ten including one offset.
