been baling , about 800 bales so far , all net wrapped, no problems till now . every bale or at least every other bale, the wrap wraps on the two rubber rollers , not on the bale. nothing has changed , just started doing this yesterday. have checked everything. what could be problem?? cleaned rollers and net pan thoroughly too. no nicks or cuts on rollers either. any help would be appreciated.

I have had that happen on my 567 and was bad netting. Got a new roll from Deere and it worked great. Cheap stuff from rural king seemed to be my problem. If yours is a cover edge be sure the flutes on roller are clear of debris.

IIRC 535 netwrap attachment can't utilize coveredge wrap.

I'll 2nd that one needs to apply powder if netwrap is wrapping on surface wrap rubber roller. If wrap is wrapping on baler belt rollers then check the clearance between guide & belts on the guide attached to baler tailgate.

If it is HOT and HUMID the mesh wrap can easily wrap on the mesh wrap rolls. It also takes just one small knick to start the whole thing wrapping.

Some things to check:

1) How sharp is the knife??? You want a little ragged edge but not two foot long tears. If it is too ragged it will wrap the starter rolls easier.
2) Blow all the chaff out of the attachment. It can cause the wrap to pile up and not go gown the mesh wrap pan.
3) Check and make sure the mesh wrap pan does not have anything stuck in it lie a twig or weed stem. That can cause the wrap to bunch up and wrap.
4) Has the baler set for a few weeks since you last used it??? In real hot humid weather I have had the mesh wrap guide pan rust and pile the wrap up.
5) Make sure the leaf spring that holds the guide pan up is not broken. If it is not against the bottom of the belts it will not pull the wrap dwon to start the bale.

If you check all of this and still no dice I would go get a different roll of mesh wrap. I have had some that just would not work.

What JD said and also check roll tension, I have had the adjustment bolts come loose or the springs break. Check the roll brake pad, if this is worn or out of adjustment it will cause wrapping. Double check the knife mounting and actuating system for loose and broken bolts. Make sure the rubber pad/flap the knife cuts against is not damaged. Make sure that knife is SHARP! Have someone trip it while you watch it operate, that can reveal problems. On the 535 a failing hydraulic pump or bypassing cylinder can cause issues. There is also a spring in the pump actuating system that likes to break causing issues. I have run JD net wrap balers for 25 years and when they suddenly start giving fits its usually caused by something little that has broken or come loose. If your local deere dealer has a good baler man it can be worth the money to have him come take a look. He will probably spot the problem right away.
