Reliable No.3 floor jack not so reliable

I bought this floor jack (see pics) at an auction recently and I think some things are missing. Is there a cable or wire that runs from the jack body to the handle? Also, the levers on the handle....how should they be connected? I would appreciate a picture of the jack the way it should be or if there is a site I can visit. I don't believe the company " Reliable Jack Co. of Dayton, Ohio is still around. Thanks.

There is still a company using that name there. That was proably a ujoint assembly that's missing

Shaun- I did a search using Google and only business ledger from the company showed up....maybe a collectors thing or something. Could you give me the link that you looked at. Thanks.
