I have a Brown-Lipe (EDIT it's a model 20) 3-speed transmission in a 1926 Gotfredson farm truck. I want to do an oil change. Any idea what weight or type of oil to use? Just 90W gear oil? Same question on the rear differential. What weight oil? Specs are below. THANKS in advance!
EDIT: I saw some other specs on a similar model that said the rear differential worm wheel assembly was made of "special alloy bronze," which may dictate what type of gear oil, I am guessing. Mine has a bevel gear so not sure if any of the gears in mine are bronze.
