Year of my tractor

I recently bought a wheel horse/Toro lawn tractor and I think that it is approx 25 years old. What do I need to provide to determine the year of this tractor?

One of the forums below is the "Garden Tractor" forum. You might have better luck there in finding out. There is another site, "tractordata.com" that might be able to help you by the serial number. I know that they can with larger tractors, but have no idea whether or not they include garden tractors.

Much good luck to you. I have no idea where the serial number is on a Wheel Horse. I have one, a Model 604 which at the time translated to a 6 HP from 1964 that I shoe horned a 10 HP in a long time ago.
