Samsung Safety Truck

Someone will pass when they shouldn't anyway and then sue you because your tv screen showed them it looked like they could make it. Bye-bye cameras and tv screens soon after. People always push the envelope. Just another reason to take more chances. Neat idea though if people wouldn't abuse it. You're supposed to match the speed of the vehicle in front of you before you pass and I can see the idiots using the screen as a way to not slow down as they come up on you, thinking they're going to see if its clear in time to make the lane change and not have to reset the cruise control.

Neat idea but we have enough trouble keeping doors and tailgates on trucks with the drivers they hire at work, a t.v. wouldn't last long lol

Probably wouldn't last too long before they started showing ads on the screen that would defeat the whole purpose!

So then everyone behind it starts watching the screen on the back and not the brake lights or turn signals on the trailer and...bang when they least expect it. Don't give our out of control big brother nanny state government anymore ideas that we can't survive without it telling us how.

I see people every day that stick it over into the other lane and are just barely going faster than what they are passing??? - I hang back aways and when it's clear speed up and catch what I'm passing then get into the oncoming lane and accelerate WHILE I'm passing, no sense in dilly-dallying - once you're committed, GO FOR IT! Most states allow 10 - 15 mph over the limit when passing anyway. 8)

how about learn to drive with a little common sense? the way those people are driving I don't think will help one bit.
