Re; Hand Cleaner

I use just your basic dish soap like Palmolive or Dawn. Use a little bit soap and warm water and suds it up then pour on some white sugar and work it in. Hands are clean and no harsh chemicals were used. Give it a try it will surprise you.

I use either Joy, or Dawn, and water, and maybe scotch brite, after washing with diesel, or gasoline. gets the remainder of it off, but the wife objects to the smell.

I use the 'Home Hardware' labeled stuff - have for years, best yet, got a little grit in, doesn't smell bad, rinses easily with water and is inexpensive. Probly some 'Generic' brand, repackaged. Maybe Canada only.

The sugar sounds interesting. Be a good way to get rid of it since we rarely use it being I am a type one diabetic. As far as over the counter cleaners I really like joe's the best. Second favorite is probably power kleen. Neither have grit with I like because normally if I'm out on a job a don't have running water. For the really bad hands I just use starting fluid but it will dry out and crack your hands pretty good if you use a lot

I finally gave up on the ones in a jug with a pump. The pumice was probably eating the pumps and they quit working.

Switched to Dawn dish detergent in a gallon jug with a pump. Works better than any hand cleaner I have ever used--even on the tough diesel oil type grease from inside the engines. Just use with water and you will be surprised. No problems with excessive dry skin either.

Old "LAVA" soap bar. Cheap, not messy or fragrant, easy to lay on the sink or shelf. But hard to find in a store.
