The original subject was "Help with a john deere eztrak mower".
You have to remove the seat, plastic cover, disconnect the mower deck, and I recommend the battery.
Then you need to remove the bolts with a 13mm socket and wrench from the hard plastic under the cover. There are 3 bolts with nylon lock nuts on the left and right side along with the height adjustment piece.
You should be able to lift up the hard plastic at this point (I stuck a larger wrench under it to hold it up) then slip out the cable assembly and install the new one.
