I am reworking a bucket to fit another loader and the pin holes are warn! There are these round shims/washer welded over the holes. I would like to grind them off and install new wear shims/bushings but I can't find them anywhere? Have been looking on
mcmaster carr and other web sites Don't see them. I am thinking I am not calling them by the right name? The 1" hole bushing to hold 1" pins. If you no a good source,
Any help Thanks oldiron29

You should be able to buy bushing stock at a welding shop, or get them made reasonably. I made new ones from solid round stock( pins and bushings) for my MF 236 a while ago, I have a lathe of course.

At most bearing houses you can get step bushings in different pin sizes for these applications.
Cut the bucket flange holes to size and weld the bushings in place.
Pass a 1" shaft trough both bushings to keep them in line before you weld them on.

The hubs for weld together gears work good for that too and should be available at farm supply stores.

DOM steel tubing is what I've used in the past.

Never bought from this place....speedymetals.com....but you can look there to see what I'm talking about.
