its just not my day, first daughter got in a car wreck, she is fine, but sore, new car is totaled, not her fault, now, some time ago i hit a hidden piece of old crane cable with my cub while mowing, we have had some weather this year and apparently this dug itself up, as it wasnt there the last time i mowed, it stopped the cub cold, done some damage too, i replaced the spindle bearings, one was damaged, and as long as i was in there i did both plus the seals, got it back together, and it had some vibration it didnt have before, ive balanced the blades, [ danco c-2] checked and rechecked everything, today i made a spacer to lock the drive pulley and disable the slip clutch, watching it run it now looks like the shaft may be slightly bent, not much, but probably enough to cause a vibration at full rpm, couldnt see it with the pulley freewheeling, so anybody got a good spindle? or mower for sale? im in nm, but i know i'll have to travel to get one, nothing around here, ive got another which was a woods, but the tractor was in a wildfire, and it needs to be totaly rebuilt before it could be used, and even then the steel may not be any good, the fire got hot enough to make the tractor's front axle into a U
