about to use crossbow/roundup /24d on some poison oak ,,, and my wisteria ,i wonder if the chemical will transmit into the roots and into my drinking water supply , .. I suspect both have made some roots into the cistern walls ,,. it was built in 1930 and plastered with cement against the red clay walls,,. just wonder if I have anything to worry about

Read the instructions on the product or contact the manufacturer. Don't want to mess with your drinking water. HTH

use cleaning vinegar- about 10% concentration.
regular table vinegar will work as well - just needs more applications.
no real problem if it gets in your water.

24d can be very bad for some animals. I know someone who walked a llama over an area he sprayed weeks before and it killed it. Very bad for camelids and some ruminants.

I was thinking salt. I got some stuff in my drive and so far it is the only thing that seems to of killed it off.
Get a goat and tie out there too. They will eat it.
