Mildew in Cucumbers: What to spray

Our Extension office (mich)is warning of mildew in cucurbits and urging to spray. A quick check of their website lists some pricey sprays. I'm talking about my garden and my son's little pumpkin business (50 plants). Is there a retail spray I can use ahead of time from my local store? I can list the name the Ext office says to use. One is $50 a pint.

The milk trick worked pretty good for me too, but you have to stay on top of it. If it rains, you gotta spray again.

Try household clorox on a plant and see what happens. Might dilute it to 1 to 2 %. wouldn't use it straight out of the bottle and all clorox isn't the same % of dilution.....read the label. I spray it on my house and it does a great job of killing MD on the Northern exposures.
