Doesn't get more convienient than this

I always have a few stragglers every year. This year's no different. This one just dropped her calf right in the corral. Didn't have to go looking for it in the tall grass.
Late calves are better than no calves,I finish all of them anyway.

Yeah Randy! Better than NO calves! I have a couple cows, that should drop calves this month, and they will miss the fall feeder sale. If there is a bull in the 2 of them, I may band him, and feed him out for the freezer. Might as well, being as I have to feed him anyway.
 
Since that one was so easy, it should be cheaper! LOL
Are the stragglers done or are you waiting on more this year?
 
There's still half a dozen or so yet. There's two that had twins early on last year that haven't calved yet. I guess after that trauma,they told the bull "Get away from me!".
 
Ya and I was standing on the front porch across the road using the zoom too. Those black buggers don't like to be bothered when they have a new calf.
