Ford 4000 won't run

Got a deal on a ford 4000 diesel. It's been park outside for 5 years or so. Will turn over but won't run. Where do I begin..already cleaned fuel filter

Did you bleed the filters? What about the injector lines. First thing you need in the repair manual. You can buy and aftermarket TO manual from this sight.

Three or four cylinder model? Engines are different.

yea when you get everything checked out tie her behind the pick up or another tractor drag it down the road a little bit if there's any start to it, it will fire off saves your starter also

Did you check for fuel getting to the injector pump? Did you crack loose the injector lines at the injectors to bleed out the air?

If it's puffing white vapor out the exhaust, it's getting fuel. No vapor, no fuel.

If it is puffing fuel vapor and not starting ether it's out of time or low compression. Like tn terry t said, tow it!
