Knee high by the 4th of .....

Well, not exactly knee high, but it'll have to do. This is my SWEETCORN patch. That said, (shown,) there is a lot of field corn around here which didn't make it to knee high this year, some is only inches high. Got a lot of catching up! Oh, this is Mrs. RayP - my bride of 45 years, and yes, she is of normal height.

I'm almost afraid to go look at the sweet corn I planted because I am pretty sure it was under water Thursday

I went to Howard City this morning. You're right,some of the corn up that way is pretty pitiful. I couldn't believe it looked that rough. A lot of it looked like it was mudded in on ground that was too wet.
