Gents:
Found goodly amount of fresh oil on the inner side of my rear wheel on this tractor. I am guessing that I have a failed rear axle seal. Questions:
1. Appears to me that to change the seal one has to pull axle by opening transmission housing to free axle itself from bull gear. See the CaseIH schematic [ Would those who know please confirm ] :

2. Is this whole assembly lubed by HY-Tran coming from transmission case ?
3. What else should I count on changing while I'm doing the job if answer to no. 1 is yes.
4. If answer to Question 2 re HY-Tran is yes , can I just keep topping up transmission until mowing season is over without risk of damaging something else ?
Obliged for any guidance .
