Hay is running 70% heavier than normal. Went thru 8 20,000 bales of twine last night and need to find more.......on a holiday. :>(

Good problem to have< sort of. Years ago i worked across most of Nebraska and saw tremendous crops of alfalfa on irrigated land. I suppose most went to de-hy plants.

How many bales per 20,000'? I get about 50 bales, 4x5 1/2 on a 435 JD. Last year I was having some trouble with the tie arms and had a few bales that got a lot more

If you have a Bomgaars try them they are open here today. I know you won't be able to get parts around here.

Yep,

That's what I did John. They didn't have the 20K rolls, but got enough to run tonight anyway.

Now, will someone come and stack all this hay for me? :>)

This is the type of problem you do not mind having. Same as not having enough empty wagons to finish combining a field. LOL

Plenty of time now to go for twine here. I just got 6 tenths of rain this morning. On top of the hay I cut yesterday. Oh well, we wanted rain I guess.
