I said the other day that if we didn't get significant rain pretty soon,the center pivots would be running by Saturday. I went to get some oxygen this afternoon and saw five of them running. Four on corn,one on beans. That frog strangler that Ray and I got Monday was pretty isolated.

If you tried to run a center pivot down here it would get stuck and drown.

Maybe you could reverse it and suck the water off.

No center pivots in Lenawee county unless you are on the River Raisin. No deep water down below. Some places can't get enough for a house.

There's some places over west of here that just lay a horizontal well about 20 feet deep. All of them around here are vertical though.

With near 10 inches of rain in June we don't need anymore water for a long time.
