These are manufactured in Ireland, 10 foot wide, sowing seeds into slots cut by the discs. Used for over-sowing grass seeds or fast growing Stubble Turnips into existing grass swards.

Stubble Turnips are a fast growing root crop, used for grazing sheep.

They are exported to the US and sold under another name.

The Uni-Drill was sold under its own name back in the eighties by one of the equipment distributors in the northeast (might have been Hamilton) and it was also marketed under the Gilmore-Tatge name as well. There was another rebranding of it later on but can't remember who . . . .

Yep mine is an older one than that one, But it was still built by Moore back in the 80's. Good drill that will put the seed in the ground. They are a heavy drill for sure! Bandit
