I went and looked a Oliver 88 diesel today it looked in good shape the paint is there but showing age sheet metal looks tires good and it has hydraulics and power steering on the hydraulics it has some magnetic adjustment? The owner is one to take care of his equipment it didn't have the side shields on it but he might have them any idea on the value? I didn't get any pictures but at least a rough estimate? He said it runs real good and will get down and work

From that description, probably $1250-1500. Maybe more if you think it's been taken care of and has low hours.

I don't know about other areas, but in this area that would fetch 4-8k easily, just for it being running. The diesel is a big selling point, but the gassers fetch a hefty penny as well.

I had on a few years back that I payed $2500 for but it had a wide front which is why I got it. Put the wide front on my S88 and then traded it off for another tractor and some equipment. If it does in fact have the side curtain then that is $500 more for it. Not curtain then $1500 give or take a bit. With the curtains $2000 give or take

There was a nice original with a wide front and full set of curtains on CL here a year ago for $2000. It was advertised for quite a while. Don't know if it ever sold or not.

Yes many things I do not have like an Oliver S44 or a MM UDLX or many many others. I have had many and sold many over the years. I still have part of an Army corp of engineers road roller. Did at one time have an army 6X6 truck on the place and do still have an army mule in one of my sheds
