Hi guys-I know it is not tractor related but need some advice.I have lost about 25 lbs in the last 2 months.Went to Dr. and am doing tests.A pulmonary nodule showed up on my left lung.It is 4mm,in the lingula of the lung,solid and not calcified.I am 64 years old ,smoke and been exposed to agent orange.My next Dr appointment is at the end of July.Been stressed and thought maybe some of you had been though this.Thanks

Put effort into getting VA benefits. Lung issues usually are not direct cause of weight loss. Get opinions form others ASAP. And Thank you for your service. My Father in law was exposed (flight line) and had both cancer and Kidney failure. Jim

May God bless you. Most times, those nodules turn out to be nothing to worry about, especially if they are that small. I know it's easier said than done, but I don't think you should get too upset about it yet

May not but much help but you have 30 years on me I don't smoke and have had a 3 or 4mm on my lung for at least the past ten years. Don't know the exact spelling but called it hystoplasmosis or something like that. Found it after a football accident that involved lung X-ray. So could be nothing. Hope all is well with you and good luck
Get ahold of your service officer now. They will fax "Intent to file" , this will set the date for compensation. Yours sounds like a presumptive disorder. But the important thing is that you see an accredited service officer!!! Smoking & drinking have nothing to do with it, it is the amount of exposure!!! Trust me on this one. THAT (agent orange) SAVED OUR LIVES,IS NOW KILLING US.

From one vet to another get into the VA system yesterday and do so with out letting them put you off. My step sons father died due to agent orange and had paper work for such but died before they got around to saying yes that was what was wrong with him so do not let them get away with not helping you
