Any bison farmers on here?

Any bison farmers on here? I am up in ne wi

Prices are crazy good! got $3.35lb for 2014 spring calves... 525lb average

I dont get involved in selling much meat but heard ground burger is going for $10.00lb these days

I don’t have any but on a recent trip in CO I was going north up highway 9 from Canon city passed a very large beautiful farm with hundreds and hundreds of bison. Made me wonder if that was it must have looked in the old west. A great sight to see.

YT poster "Bison" will be checking in soon enough. He has bison and knows all about them

Yes i got a couple hand fulls of them
Yep bison prices are good right now.
A good thing too as it shapes up i might have to sell half my herd if we don't get rain in the next two weeks, cause we're having here a severe drought and are fighting a loosing battle with grasshoppers to boot.

Wow how many head do you have?

I just have 26 here.

We are just into selling youngstock as is my cousin who has 100 of them

What are the us equivalent prices you get up there?

Over here butcher bulls are going for $4.00lb on the rail... thats pretty cheap in my opinion when you can sell a year old for $1200.00-$1500.00

Howdy. I thought you were in the Grande Prairie area. Son & dotter are in GP and they just had a spate of rain.
