You must be new to Ebay...

What do you mean they refused the refund? They cant. You open a claim with Paypal that the product was damaged due to faulty packing and Paypal refunds you. The seller has no say in it. They can contest it but Paypal sides with the buyer so you get your money.

Then after you get your money back, leave them negative feedback and low stars. Now go buy from somebody else. Dont take it personal, its business. Do what you need to do and move on.

You can't blame the seller for slow shipping speed. That is the USPS. I sell and buy on ebay everyday.

I have had three packages I mailed to Iowa. For some reason they get to Des Moines then one went to TX then went back to IA. The second package went to SC then back to IA. And the third package went from Des Moines to TX them to CO then back to IA. THAT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! THAT'S THE USPS!!

I bought a toy tractor back in March. My package went from Maine to Nebraska and was only scanned three times. All three scans were at my post office. It was shipped priority mail three day. It took two weeks.

I bought decals for my Ford 4000 from Steiner's. They came in a padded envelope folded. They still worked fine.

Almost all the decals you buy from those tractor sites are wrong for the application. Nobody researches them to get the right color, length or even close to the originals. They don't have a long shelf life and will crack or separate. Unless it's just an old tractor and you don't care buy from a reputable company who specializes in the correct decals.

Ordered a couple items from Amazon. Order confirmation said they would arrive between the 26th and the 28th by USPS. They were shipped from Kentucky warehouse and arrived yesterday (the 23rd).

Mail order pharmacy really messed up my refill order; I checked the order online before it shipped and they were going to charge me $1743 for the meds; even though my insurance co-pay was $100 for the 5 meds. Called Customer Service and he recognized the error right way; he cancelled the original order and entered a new order for the right price. He was embarrassed about the company error and had the meds shipped UPS next day delivery; meds arrived at our house just before noon yesterday, right on schedule.

I don't buy anything off of eBay. I do order things from the box stores with free shipping to the local store; that has always worked well for me.

USPS service really stinks anymore. I don't know how many times I have received stuff through them and they give an estimated delivery date and then they miss it by 2 or 3 days. Seems to me everything on the East coast goes through a terminal in Pennsylvania. Like others have said I have seen some of my packages go way off course in their attempt to arrive at my door.

Ebay will not accept my claim. Paypal has. They have opened a claim and so far sidede with me. Also, I have been buying tractor parts off Ebay for 12 years and this is the 2nd incident. The other was a seller demanding more money after the item arrived.

Sometimes you get surprised. I have been buying through eBay almost since they began. Only had two bad deals. One guy sold me a coin that was clearly not what he advertised. While he seemed to be owning up to his error, he wanted me to return it insured. Sent it out, and it came back a few days later as refused. He made the excuse that he could not be home to sign for an insured package. So, at his request, I resent it regular mail. He conveniently said that he never received it. Hmmmmmm..... seemed a bit fishy to me. Before it got any more involved, I ended contact with him. He emailed me a few times offering restitution, but by that time, I was sick of the whole deal and too angry to maintain self control. Another was a rather expensive part for my antique car. Arrived badly damaged. Seller was very reluctant to file a claim with the carrier. Again, I salvaged what was left and walked away from the deal.
Last Friday, I ordered two items from two different vendors.
Item one was a valve spring compressor. Scheduled delivery date was for Monday. Still not here. Rechecked the delivery schedule, and it now says between Monday and Thursday.
Item two was a set of valves for a Dodge Neon. Scheduled delivery date was Thursday. Arrived Monday.
Go figure???????

You will get a refund . The post office should also reimburse the seller as it sounds like postal machinery damage. Trouble is, it is a long time on hold waitng for a person to help you.
