Wife's out of town, parents out of town, just me and my girls, 11 and 12. So we finished putting together the oliver, did some test digging, and pressure washed the under sides that were full of grease and oil from previous leaks.

Started a trailer for my middle daughter and her soon to be husband. That's him working the saw. Got to work one day with my daughter and 3 of my grandkids, but the pictures from that day went away with my broken phone.

Put new bearings in a mower for my dad. He's got two other mowers to use - BUT NO, He wants to use the one with bad bearings. Good news is I finally got a hydraulic press....

As usual and what I love and appreciate, all 3 kids called and wished me Happy Fathers Day, told me what they were up to and asked the same of me, we all spent quality phone time together. They know I'm NOT into gifts or a neck tie lol. In my desk drawer I keep an envelope of special gifts they gave me over the years like hand drawn cards or school crafted gifts and things such as the year one of my sons gave me an envelope with some change and a dollar bill inside which I treasure and is worth more than a million dollars in my eyes, as are all the special kids gifts from the heart. I intend to have that envelope placed in my casket so I will carry it through all eternity. Then late last night the wife told me to look what my 30 something daughter had placed on her Facebook Page which is the picture and caption below. I was really touched and consider myself blessed. As the song goes when we raised the kids, "I must have done something right".

This picture was taken the day after father's Day, but the little one was hatched on Father's Day, so maybe it still counts.
I have nest boxes up for Saw Whet Owls out at the farm (Alberta).

Just got to check one today and there was 1 baby and 5 eggs still to hatch.
The fellow that bands the little owls says he will be doing so around mid July.

The remainder of the eggs should be hatching every day until all of the chicks are there.
Six babies are quite average for these little guys.

There were 3 mice in the box, so the male must be a good hunter.

Coached my 12 yr olds U12 soccer team and won tournament on Saturday. On Sunday she gave me this wonderful picture. Had a wonderful weekend with my parents, sisters and family.

Figured that after the wheel came of Molly's tractor, you weren't allowed near wheels or tires anymore.
