What year is it? I m thinking around 61 or 62?
 
It's a '62. The '60, '61, and '62 had "wraparound" windshields. In '63 the windshields were changed to more conventional slanted posts.
 
I know a guy that hauls stuff in to the auction market at Hackettstown with one that isn't much better than that. His does have windows and headlights but I'm surprised bales don't fall through what he calls a floor . . . .

My dad had one when I was small - same color too! Would stuff mom and 6 of us kids in there to go visit the neighbors. A couple of older kids in the box and the rest of us stuffed into the cab. No seat belts used back in that day. LOL.
 
I've got that same bed on my '69 1 ton. (My '69 resembles it as far as paint goes, but mine runs and that one doesn't look like its been anywhere for a while.

Would you believe in 2004 the local Chevy dealer still had the new strips for it that were about 8" longer than those for a conventional 8 ft. pickup bed?
