Went to a small show yesterday in Rochester, Indiana. Their feature tractors are Minneapolis Moline. The most impressive ones were the UDLX ,2 R Comfort cabs (one was set up as a mail route driver). A nice and rare crawer-loader and a Minneapolis Moline " JEEP" , built and sold to military in WWII as airplane movers. There also was a smaller size tug.
One of the interesting things about the area, are several Round barns, one has been moved to the show grounds. I took some photos, and need to learn how to post them.
Show is June 19, 20 and 21.

Ive seen pictures of the R mail carrier but never seen one in person. Sounds like a nice show.

Joe, I never made it ther. Was that R set up for mail a wide or narrow front. The Only R's with cab that I have seen were narrow front. But the only UDLX were wide front. Lester Planning on trying to make it to Winamac.

All 3 were wide front. The first R has cab only no front fenders. The Mail R had flat "running board " front frnders with a raling kind of thing to hold ( I think) mail sacks. joe

Had a round barn not far from me and the story was that the farmer ran imself to death in it as he couldn't find a corner to take a leak.
