Buying an MF1560

Looking to upgrade from my TO-30..considering a used mf1560 with 500 hrs..dealer is asking 22,900..I don't see a lot of 1560's for sale online...this asking price seems low to me...I haven't read any bad reviews on this model...this tractor looks like a good buy at this price for the horsepower and FEL....am i missing something here?..I have 59 acres to care for..mostly mowing sloped fields with decent Woodlot on back of property...any feedback appreciated!

They are not many MF compact utility tractors around here in North-East Iowa. The company that is making the MF model has been around for a good number of years so I would thank that they are a pretty good unit. The price seems a little on the higher side but in good condition that would not be far off either. Good equipment holds it value.

There where several of the older MF 1010s around here and they held up well but they where built by a different company.

Are you in NY??? That is the only one I found for sale.

I would only have a concern about after sale parts and service. IF so few are built and sold how will the parts be down the road???

...thanx for writing back...I live in pennsylvania but maintain my hunting land in NY..there is a massy ferguson dealer right down the road actually. The other 1560 I saw on tractor house had a backhoe and the asking price was $38000 .Fastline had a couple 1560's with asking prices between $27000 up to the $35,000 or more.I just don't have a handle on a fair price for this model but the hours are low on it and it has plenty of hp...I don't see many tractors of simiar age and power at this price..
