a friend of mine has a kubota 4630 gst, used mainly for mowing, he called 2 days ago and had me come to his farm and look at it as it has shut down and wouldnt restart, i found the radiator screen blocked with grass and cleaned it the tractor started right up and i ran it for about an hour with no issues, today he said it quit again, the fuel filter and air filter are recent, what else can i look at on this tractor im not much on kubotas as far as working on them, the ones i know of dont seem to break down

Eric Jim has give you a couple of things, USUALLY when it is the fuel solenoid it is a quit and never work again thing. But it could be the wire feeding the fuel solenoid could have a bad connection. Most likely thing is the seat switch is going bad and telling the tractor to stop.

If its a Hydro there is a switch on the foot peddle that could be bad or the clutch peddle if its not. Also another on the Pto switch or lever. A third one under the seat. Any of the three can keep the tractor from starting.
Check your fuses. There is also a big inline fuse going to the fuel regulator or solenoid.

thanks guys i will check those items in the morning, rain today prevented me from getting to the tractor, dont want to tear up his pasture where the cows graze,

Mine use to die after for a few minutes. It was a throttle control spring! Just saying.
