Odd Fenders on an H

Ok so I was driving in Lebanon MO the other day and saw a Farmall tractor parked close to the road. I looked like an H but might be something other then and H. Any how it had fenders on it that looked odd. Flat top fenders that came up straight off the axle housing and then top was sort of flat but angled down in front at about a 20 degree angle. Wish I had a camera with me when I saw it but I didn't

You been around long enough to know someone put "06" fenders on it to give their grandkids a ride on the 'ol H.
That's all. Good place for them to sit.

No these did not look like a factory made fender more like some one took the time to fab up a custom set and the front of the fenders sit at least 6 inches lower then the back so there sort of spoilers

When I was a kid I remember dad putting JD fenders on a 450 farm all but backwards so the grab handles were to the back. Well, because you got on from the back.

I was at an auction last summer that had an JD H. It had a set of old massey harris fenders painted JD green laying on the ground beside it.They sold the tractor for 3000,then sold the old massey fenders painted green for 500.The auctioneer said they were john deere fenders. Never saw a set of them bring over 75 buckas at any sale.Guess the green paint made them more valuable.
