Didn't think it was that wet

Dang it. I don't want to cut hay with the forecast looking so sketchy so I figured it'd be a good time to get the Roundup sprayed on the corn. We had 1.6 inches Friday and .65 early yesterday, none for the previous two weeks.
I got loaded up and went to spray the only field that didn't get a pre emerge first. I made one round and was lucky to get out of there. I had one field that I could get on to get emptied out,but the rest is as wet as the first one.
Guess I'll try to haul bales instead.

I am not under the gun at this point in time but the forecast looks poor so spraying or haying could get to be a serious problem yet.

My brother parked his planter about May 15th in NE Kansas - finally made back into the field on June 8th - started raining on June 10th and hasn't moved since. 8 inches of rain the last two weeks of May and and 5-9 (depending on the farm) inches more since June 1st. Rain is in the forecast everyday the next 8 days.

Toledo's channel 13 weather man said this morning that the rain looks like it is copying 1993. I don't remember 1993 rainy weather but this is the pits for getting things done.
I talked to one of my suppliers in Huston TX about 2:00 pm and he said they were ready to head for home because of storm Bill was at 50mph and gaining strength. I guess I should be thankful that we are just wet.

Just got back from trucking for the day, got a fresh batch of chemical to spray the beans again, and then it starts raining. Oh great. So it's either do bookwork, or look for a barley pop and watch the rain. Hmmm.

These men all said those same words! Starting with cutter at bottom & then help to get out, one at a time.

My rain gauge is at 3-1/4" since last Thursday. Got another 3/4" last night. Good thing we got beans sprayed two weeks ago, can't even weed the garden in this mess.

Hey Randy, took this early this morning. After almost 6" of rain the past few days, it's a bit rough on this corn. Southern Midland County
Kind of a poor pic, too many bugs on the windshield, lol
