As subject says an antique (car or truck) that you use in the summer. Maybe to compliment or even haul your antique tractor.

Got a 1981 F350 with a dump bed. Used to haul all my tractors with it. Now don't use it much at all so put historical plates on it and basic liability for insurance. Used it last month to haul some furniture for my daughter.

Got a '70 F100. Only I use it all year,not just in summer.Also have Dad's 66 'jimmy'

I have a 1976 Chevy C20. Hauls small tractors and a lot of implements. General farm use. Only used in the summer. Now I have a 1972 Chevy C50...repairs on which are currently bleeding me dry. It will never see salt either. Both will go into the barn in October and come back out in April.

I have a pair of Mustangs. A 1966 fastback in Sahara Beige paint with 289 engine and a 67 coupe in viper race yellow paint with a 200 six. The 67 get 24 MPG and I drive it daily.

17 Model T which has been seen on here a lot.
I drive it anytime the weather is nice. Regular SC tag and insurance including replacement for $149/year.
Of course I have to get these 2 critters out of it before I can use it.
Picked up the oldest grand daughter at last day of school in it last week.

i have a few....54 Chevy pickup, 55 chevy pickup, 2 66 Impalas, 69 Camaro, 56 coupe deville, 63 sedan Deville, 30 model A sport coupe, 72 Vega GT, 40 Desoto coupe, 49 Chevy Deluxe , 72 Honda trail 70 and 3 84 Kawasaki sport bikes.

Most of you have likely seen mine here already. The 64 Chevy II gets a little summer driving. 71 C10 hasn't moved out of the shed in a couple of years. The 59 IH pickup got out for a bit last summer. Guess I've got too many to give them the exercise they all need. Lately I've been giving the Ford flatheads most of my attention. Had the 52 Merc out for a drive a couple of days ago. Note: they are all "works in progress". :)

Use my father's 65 Chevy 1/2 ton truck around the farm.

He bought the new truck and traded in his 1953 five window Chevy truck.

Been on the farm now for 50 years.

Very inexpensive to drive around on the farm; no license plates, no insurance, and no registration.

Why would you clear coat over rust? It will rust right down through the metal. You should remove the rust, use metal prep, then clear coat.

We have an old 1981 XR7 Mercury Cougar. My late brother-in-law told his wife to get rid of it in 1985, that it was
worn out with 15k miles. Has always been garaged and only has 58k on it now. I just changed the engine oil and filter. Getting a little old at 82 to be changing oil. Hal

Here's the only other one I've ever seen, it was in an auction. In this decrepit condition it sold for $1,500. Not much there for the money.

My summer ride is my 1956 M38a1 military Willys Jeep. I restored it in 2003 and have driven it in decent weather ever since. Even used it to pull my grain drill planting soybeans once. It is not a trailer queen, I use it for cutting firewood in the winter. It cruises nicely at 35mph.

Love the shot on Monarch Pass, I have Elk Hunted their for 20 years, camp down the west side in Sargents

What is the story you've heard about the Buick interior?
For a period of 2-3 months in 1968 Chevy put a few Buick Skylark,Olds. and Pont. interiors in SS 396. Seems no one really knows why. Some say a strike, others say a warehouse burnt possibly. My car has all the badging, SS steering wheel, plus the cowl tag numbers for the SS, but has the door panels and bench seats of Buick.

'68 Chevelle SS396 restored to factory stock. Bench seat, column shift automatic, A/C, 3.07 rear gear, a great cruising car and very dependable. Gets about 13 mpg if I stay out of the gas, runs 15 sec 1/4 mile @ 90mph when I get on it.
It's for sale if anyone's interested.
