Need Help on Disc ID again.

I posted this on the implement forum but got mixed reviews. Some said first IH wheel disc(prior to the #37) others said its a Kewanee 130. I looked at pictures but I can't tell either. I am hoping its an IH and that someone knows the axel size and could help if I needed some parts. I can get it cheap enough that I can fix it up some if I need too.

If I owned that disc I would not worry about replacement parts from the factory.

All parts can be machined and bearing can be measured and a replacement found from a bearing house by measurements.

Even on my equipment that is newer and parts available I have parts built or go to a bearing outlet for parts.

It is a Kewanee 130.( Like the picture above) They made that disk for a lot of years. The earlier ones had the bolted corners like your does. The later ones had the formed channel iron rounded corners. Your not going to find many Kewanee OEM parts anymore. The common wear items you will find in Shoup or CFC Distributors. Anything else just make with welder and tools.

I'm good with fabbing up stuff with a welder. Happen to know the axle size? I have some extra disc laying around and it would be nice if they fit this disc too.

Just take a few outside disk off and you will know the axle size. How do you know you need axles????

I don't. I haven't bought it yet. I was just trying to see if mt spare disc would work with this one. But as you said with a welder and tools I can make anything work.

My vote is with the IH crowd--it's a 35 or 35A.

JD Seller's picture shows the IH hydraulic hose holder of that era with the coil spring on the bottom mounted on the hitch. It also shows the hydraulic lift setup for using two of the front-mount cultivator cylinders. That's an IH disc, too.

If it's IH it should have part numbers on the gang bearings that begin with "P". That might be the only place you'll find a part number on that disc.
