Insurance would not fix my red Chev the deer smashed into, gave me $6150.00 for it. It was a 2002, bought this Dodge reg can long box , just a regular old farm pickup, V8 auto , 2wd , brand new $24500.00 . Drove into Toronto today to pick it up. Could have gone and got it last week, but weather was just to good for doing hay, so I stayed home and got the hay done, can always run errands in the rain, but have to make hay when the sunshine . Just thought the 930 looked too good not to be in the pictures too. Bruce

Looks like a good pickup to me. It should give you many miles of good service IF a deer doesn't try suicide in front of it. LOL. I suppose there are folks who really do need 4WD like the ones who live in steep hill country with poorly maintained roads. Most of us don't need 4WD on every single vehicle we own. I got a real good deal on a used 2WD Chev Colorado because every other buyer turned his nose up at it. Of the four vehicles I own one is a 4WD that I need once in a blue moon. I live on a rural gravel road way out in the country to boot.

Nice pickup truck --- I think you did pretty good with the insurance pay out . I could have bought an avalanche 2003 today only , for 3600 and passed it up .There not my type of truck -- I have a full size 4x 4 GMC that suits me just fine .

Fixerupper you and I think along the same lines. My wife's truck has 4wd , and we have a old 3/4 ton Chevy
my son drives here on the farm . So I don't really need to have four wheel drive too. If it is that bad , I
can just stay home.

Jim, I have 3 4wd pickups and one old Buick. They all have their uses though, and like I tell people that think I'm dingy, They are all paid for, and I buy the gasoline, so don't worry about it.

(quoted from post at 23:21:52 06/08/15) Dodge trucks and Case tractors....don't get no better!

I worked at the Case dealer in the 70's, That's the same thing the owner said, well he said Case tractors, Dodge trucks and red headed wimmin

Sure glad it is not a Silverado.Guy I know woke up from his Sunday nap. Heard someone beating on his door and a firetruck in his yard.Got outside found his 2015 going up in flames.

You guys talking about 4wd made me smile... My 1995 K1500 Chevy is 4wd, and I don't really use it that much. Have to in the winter, but our road is BAD, and it is 12 miles of BAAAAAAAD!!

Anyways, I got stuck this last SUNDAY! Dug holes with the rear wheels trying to get the jet skis out of the lake!!! Had to put it in 4wd!!! Couldn't believe it! :O

nice lookin truck!!!!! when you gonna take us for rides??? I call SHOTGUN!!!!!!!! (fyi, shotgun is calling dibbs on the passenger side front seat)

Good lookin'' truck! Keep a set of chains behind the seat and good AT tires on the rear and you'll get there ..... without 4wd
