I use old manure spreaders as wood carts and pull them with my Massey 150. I cover the wood cart with old metal roofing. I'd like to paint the roof flat black, I have an old gal. of rustoleum gloss black, does anyone know a way or what to add to make the glossy -flat? Thanks all!!

Any auto body paint store, or any other good paint store for that matter, should have a flattener you can add to the paint.

Rustoleum black will dull down in a couple of years by itself. Can't wait that long then follow the other advice.

At a real paint store you should be able to get a flattening compound to add to the paint. It will also work to add talcum powder to the paint, I just have never tried it. I've always bought a flattening compound formulated to go with the paint. Keep in mind the flatter the paint is the less durable it is.
