The injector pump is out on my Long Tractor model 260C. I found a new one for $750 but don't know if the tractor is worth that much. It is very old and beat up but I only use it to mow the pasture. Is it worth repairing.

What are you going to replace it with? 750 won't buy a different tractor and or """lawn""" mower. I would fix it. Jim

I guess it boils down to how much you like the tractor and how well it fits your needs,if you like it and it does what you need then fix it.On the other hand if something else would suit your needs a lot better then you'd probably be better off selling it for what ever you can get out of it and buying something more suitable.Don't do what a whole lot of folks do and that's fix it and then decide to sell and loose a bunch of $$$ in the process.

I don't know what is wrong with it. When I loosen the connection at the injector, there isn't much fuel coming out. Its not something I know a whole lot about. When I started having trouble, I noticed a loss in power like it was running on one cylinder. Now it won't start.

Has it set awhile since last running? If so a complete tear down and cleaning/reseal should get it working again. Don't see the 260C pump often, but did repair one about two years ago that was not working due to stuck internal parts..
