i have a TEA20 Little Grey Fergie, we are starting to acquire equipment for it, what models of Hay Cutter & Hay Rake would people recommend, its a small tractor for HP, so I don't want to buy something it can't pull .... which leads me to the question regarding bailers, I have read that she wont have the power to pull a small square, any thoughts on that?

Thanks!

I won't be much help, but on the baler, yes your machine is too light. Go Amish style old school with a Honda powering the baler. I still wouldn't do it in a hilly area and you won't be towing a hay rack.

Most any side delivery rake will be just fine. As for a sickle bar mower something in the 7 foot range will be a good match for it. As for a baler it will pull one well if on flat ground but it does not have the PTO HP to run it and pull it at the same time well if at all. Now if you find a baler with its own engine then you are good to go if on flat ground. On hills your tractor is to light to handle that baler because a baler will push you all over and that can be big trouble fast

Hi, 20/85 to light for a baler. Hay rakes ok. If you
have heavy crops, 7' sickle is too big. 5 or 6' best.
if you have light crops 7' may be ok. Ed will.

Ferguson produced a full line of implements
to make hay, i have a ferguson 7'sickle
mower, a ferguson 3 point hitch side
delivery rake and I'm looking for a
ferguson baler. I use them on aTE20 with no
power issues.
If you don't already have weighted tires
look into Rim Guard. Well worth the cost
and won't rot the rims out.

Our first baler was a John Deere 14T with a Wisconsin engine. We pulled it and a small wagon with an 8N Ford. It works OK on flat ground. Your tractor does not have Live PTO, so an engine driven baler is a necessity. Some may tell you that you can run a PTO driven baler with that tractor. I think it would be an exercise in futility.

About the only baler you could really pull would be some older small baler that had its own engine,if you're around an Amish group they won't be hard to find.Really you can buy a larger tractor with Live PTO cheaper than one of those set ups.

The lack of live PTO is not as much of a problem as a lack of speeds needed to properly feed the baler. Low may be too fast for some types of hay, others speed should be midway between low and second, then in some conditions it should be midway between second and third. You need an engine powered baler for that tractor in the size of a New Holland 66. Not one of the new heavy balers.
