Got the cold water side to the new sink and shower hooked up yesterday. Only had a couple of leaks to address when I turned the water on. Only made two trips to the hardware store, too. Things are looking up.

Jeff had a rough day though. Had three cows that were feeling poorly. Called the vet. One had a touch of pneumonia, one had a DA and the third has a brain tumor. The brain tumor cow gets shipped today. He caught the one with pneumonia early so she should be okay in a few days and the vet performed surgery on the cow with the DA. Will know in a few days whether she'll perk up or be headed to the sale barn. Hope she perks up, it's one of my granddaughters cows and she's good one, too. Expensive day.
 
Seams like every plumbing I do, I never have enough parts. Always at least one or two trips to the store. My hardware store is just around three miles away. How far do some of you need to your local hardware store. Stan
 
Hey if you don't nee to make at least three trips to the hardware store you either have a truck full of plumming parts or are just joking around. what is bad is me working on my CUB and have been picking parts up for a couple of weeks. Wait for it....Now I can't find half the damn parts!

Well, when I work up on my Mining Claim I always use the P.P.P.F.F. system - (Prior Planning Prevents Future Foul-ups) - as my NEAREST Hardware Store is 72 miles away (one way) . OUCH!

My plumbing supplier is 20 miles away. I always buy about half again to twice as many fittings as I plan on using and store the surplus away. Save myself time and mileage expense.
