Where's Mike(WA)?

All the discussion below about Mt. St. Helens prompted me to wonder about the absence here of Mike(WA). He seemed to have dropped off the scope about a month ago. I feel certain he wasn't given the boot; he's too gentlemanly to bring that on himself. His wit and intelligence are a welcome component of this forum.

He made a rather uncivil and attitude ladden post on site comments about a thread that got poofed, and Miss Kim invited him to seek other venues.

reasonable? Agreement is not required, but no reason to be unpleasant.

Rich, "poof" in this forum refers to a thread that was deleted. What occasionally happens
when someone posts as Mike apparently did. I didn't see the thread, so am unaware of these
details.
