Well the garden planting is finally done. The wifey and I bought our Mator, Pepper, Califlower, Cabage, and Broccoli plants last Thursday. Planted the cold hardy plants that day.
Today I planted the Mators and peppers. Hopeing there will be no more frosty evenings. The frames on the Mator boxes protect the plants from the elements. I have old aluminum window screens that I can adjust as the plants grow to shade the them and also protect them from hail and hard rains.
I Also spaded up the rest of the boxes for the Yellow, Green, Purple, and Pinto beans and planted them.
I also planted my special "Larry the Corner Guy box". (Thanks Larry for the seed.)
The Tators, Corn and Carrots are all peaking out of the ground. Peas are about 4" high and begining to grab ahold of the baler twine trellis.
The sun and heat totally pooped out me and my cat Katy, who had to be under foot all day in the garden.
The last two pics are of todays notill planted ground across out little valley as the sun was setting.
