Got a text message from Felix Moses in response to my classified ad on this website. He said he had the exact item I wanted and could send a picture. I said send picture. The picture of the item he sent wasn't even close to the item I wanted and I told him so. He then said if I sent him a picture of the item he was sure he could find one. Yea rite. Scam all the way. His phone number is from Orlando, Fl

I'm not sure what the scam is. If he has a yard full of old stuff he is parting out maybe he will find it for you. Get a couple of references. Helps if it is people you know or can ask on the forums. I have done this many times. Every few years someone here will find out I need something and just send it to me. Usually accompanied with a note saying "if you can use it, send me a few bucks to cover the shipping." Don't be too quick to judge...get references.

I just put it out as a warning. Anyone wanting to do business with Felix Moses go ahead. To me there were red flags. First he sends a text message and wants me to email him using his personal email. Scammers use this method all the time. Then he says he absolutely has the exact item I want. The picture he sends is way different than what I wanted. Also he never specifically calls my part by name he just refers to it as an item. I see these responses on craiglist all the time. Just wondering if anyone else received a text from Felix Moses.

I agree, that has every indication of being a SCAM!!! Scammers will rarely call and talk with you on the phone. I, too have gotten texts from scammers asking if my "item" is still available and wanting me to send them an email. DELETE!!

I've sold one item on YT and bought 4 items form men on YT. All have been good experiences. However is it smells like a scam, RUN FOREST RUN!!!

I get them all the time. Some telling me my item is ready to ship. Or they have the item I am looking for. I have never posted anything about wanting
or selling parts.
