I have 8.1 on my pc. whenever I try to send/forward a page from a web site like YT i get a popup that says I can not send because the accelerator is not available at this time.. what is an accelaterator and what does it do.i right click on the page and click send by email on the dropdown. then the accelaerator message popsup. can anyone help thanks

Probly shouldn't say anything, 'cause I have never had your problem (which is out of my scope). I just use 'copy' and 'paste'. HTH

An Accelerator is nothing more than an add on if you use windows live for email it will show up on your accelerator list it has probably been disabled just click on it if its disabled it will only show enable and remove click enable. Windows 8.1 Internet Explorer 11 here's a video that will help. you have to have administrative account to make changes. Be careful read the options you choose to update your computer with. Some options will disable parts of your computer that you want. Windows 8.1 can be a pita
