Went to put my chore boots on yesterday evening, and they had a couple inches of water in them. The five year old daughter giggled when I asked her about it. LOL

My older brother did that when he was real young. But he didn't use any consumable or bottled liquids...LOL

About 1950, us kids decided Granddpa was too hot, sitting there in the living room reading the paper, listening ot the Cardinals, no A/C, no ceiling fan, so we all sneaked intot the kitchen everybogy got big glasses of water, and we came charging out and drenched him donw, paper and all. Sorry, Grandpa. I really am.

One of my grandsons did that to my son a few years back. Son was not amused but I was laughing pretty hard!

I grew up as one of nine kids in a one bathroom house.
Too long a shower would get you a cold glass of ice water over the top of the shower curtain.
Caused a few choice words and arguments. Payback was usually the same treatment whether it was deserved or not so the tactic had its immediate desired affect but since it had the long term flaw it was used sparingly.

My Dad is 83, and I remember each and every time he put his on he would first dump them out. When he was in his teens, same thing happened to him. Evidently it was a well learned lesson.
